Recurvatum
Trilliums are named for their plant form which is usually three leaves, sepals, and petals on each stem. One of the earliest blooming trilliums, the Purple Prairie has a wine-red flower above the mottled leaves. The Purple Prairie is long-lived and forms clonal colonies through rhizomes.
