Cephalanthus occidentalis
Buttonbush is an attractive ornamental shrub that resembles a small tree. It can grow up to 15 feet with a twisted trunk and an irregular crown. Blooms are a spherical pincushion with tiny white or pale pink flowers. The Buttonbush grows well in moist, wet areas including flood conditions.
