Oxydendrum arboreum
Sourwood is a small deciduous tree that blooms from June-July and produces fragrant white flowers. It features oblong green leaves that turn purplish, red, and sometimes yellow in the fall. Also called Lily of the Valley tree because the flowers look similar to the Lily of the Valley plant.
