Liriodendron tulipifera
Native to North America, the Tuliptree is part of the Magnolia and is recognizable by its distinct tulip-shaped flowers. The showy, orange-yellow-green flowers appear after the leaves in late spring. Cone-like seed structures sit upright on branches.
